I remixed these rings from Maxsu on Thingiverse, 3D printed them and used them to explore associating identity with wearable technology. I first used these to launch some apps when a user picks up their phone. Later on, collaborating with the Hackcouture team, we were able to associate specific Facebook accounts with individual rings so that when a user grabbed a phone, it would launch an instance of Facebook with their own personal account settings. This project taught me a great deal about how RFID chips could be used.
