The Wilson X Connected Basketball is an accelerometer-equipped basketball that detects shots and tracks performance, while providing audio coaching and games from an Android or iOS app. As the UX Lead and Production Lead for this product, I was responsible for designing entertaining and quantifiable experiences around emerging technology. I worked closely with developers in Finland, an art & design team in Los Angeles, the Wilson leadership team, and an Audio Designer in San Francisco to design and build the cross-platform application for Wilson's Smart Ball. I led the ideation, prototyping and development process as well as managed press releases. I also created an internal project wiki, design documentation (personas, use cases, wireframes, voice design), a bug tracking system and schedule for deliverables.
